Ride information
The Hurricane
The Hurricane is a true carnival classic hoisting 24 riders into the air at full speed to the top of a 12m tower with belly busting feelings of weightlessness it’s fun for all ages.
Height requirement: Riders must be a minimum height of 130cm to ride alone; or 120cm and ride with an adult
Cha Cha
The Cha Cha is a modern version of the classic Scrambler ride that spins riders in two different directions. As the center of the ride rotates in one direction, the sweeps which the seats are on spins in the other direction pushing passengers from side to side on each turn.
Height requirement: Riders must be a minimum height of 130cm to go it alone, or 120cm and ride with an adult
Bluey Fun Factory
Step inside and let the fun begin as kids explore a world of bouncing, climbing, and sliding adventures. With bright colours, soft inflatable obstacles, and plenty of room to jump around, it’s non-stop energy and excitement from start to finish.
Great for all ages.
Candy Swing
When the ride starts, the whole Candy Swing comes to life—spinning as the swings lift and glide outward, giving riders that magical, up-in-the-air feeling. With bright lights, cheerful music, and candy-coloured charm, it’s pure carnival magic.
Height Requirement: You must be 90cm or taller to jump on.
Dodgem Cars
Who doesn’t love the dodgem cars? Great for all ages.
Height requirement: Must be 120 cm to drive solo, or 90cm+ to ride with an adult
Super Slide
Take on the Super Slide and feel the rush as you zip your way down from the top—fast, smooth, and full of excitement! With colourful lanes, big laughs, and that wind-in-your-hair feeling, it’s a classic carnival favourite for all ages.

Crazy Combi
Once the ride kicks off, get ready for a wild mix of spinning, tilting, and fast-paced fun as the Crazy Combi lives up to its name. With bright lights, energetic music, and plenty of surprises, every turn keeps you guessing and laughing along the way.

Base Zero Rock Climbing Wall
How high can you go? Challenge yourself on different levels to reach the top.
Height requirement: participants must be minimum 20kgs to climb and no more than 100kgs.
Dinki D Trains
Jump on and hop aboard the “Moorooka Express” — an exciting new attraction arriving at the 2026 Fete! This charming trackless train will whisk you away on a delightful, scenic journey around the fete grounds.

Ticket sales
Tickets are only valid for the Moorooka State School Fete on 25 July 2026
Pre-purchased Megapass will be available for collection before the Fete. Pick-up details to be advised in due course.
On Fete day, Megapasses can be collected from the rides ticketing stall.
Megapasses are non-refundable. If the Fete is cancelled, Megapasses will be transferred to the new date.
Adults without a ticket may ride with a ticket-holding child in the same carriage.
The ticket holder must comply with all the safety guidelines and directions of the ride operators.
Ride bands (provided to Megapass holders)
Before purchasing ride bands, please check that your child will be able to ride. Information on height and size restrictions is available in the ride information section. Riders with medical injuries on the day will not be permitted on rides, e.g., broken or sprained limbs, people unable to hold themselves upright and any injury deemed unsafe by ride operators.
Ride bands must be worn at all times when riding. Any ride bands that have been tampered with will not be honoured at the ride and will be sent back to the ticket office.
Small children will not be allowed on rides above their height and size restriction, even with an adult. Hurricane, Cha Cha and Dodgem Cars are the exception, please check the ride height requirements for full details.
Operators are in charge of the rides, not the queues. Parents are responsible for their child’s behaviour while in the queue; however, ride operators will act if inappropriate behaviour or queue jumping is observed.
Ride bands will be given out before the day or on the day, please bring your online receipt to scan.
Any rider who appears sick or has had too many rides on a particular ride will be asked to take a break for thirty minutes or more.
Riders who misbehave in an unsafe manner or vandalise rides will have their ride band removed or suspended and sent to the office.
Some rides cannot be operated in adverse weather conditions such as high winds, rain, and storms.
Larger riders may not be able to be seated correctly; seat restraints must fit the riders without squashing them.
